Frequently Asked Questions

Where will my therapy sessions be held?

We deliver therapy in the places that matter to you – your home, school, workplace and community. This helps you to practice your skills in real-life environments.

What age groups does Everyday Independence support with therapy services?

We provide therapy services to children, teenagers, and adults.

We provide all children up to nine years with early childhood supports. A key worker, usually a degree-qualified teacher, will plan and lead your child’s services and coordinate with a team of therapists and practitioners to help them build skills and get the best start in life.

Do you provide services to privately paying clients?

We accept referrals for privately paying clients who are looking to work with a therapy team made up of at least two services, along with a habit coach who supports the practice of routines and skill-building between sessions.

Please note: we do not offer Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services to privately paying customers.

If you’re looking for a single service—such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or speech pathology, we’re happy to receive your enquiry and will do our best to support you based on practitioner availability in your area.

Our private rates are the same as the NDIS rates.

What employment supports do you provide?

We provide a range of employment services to help young people aged 15-24 to enter the workforce with confidence.  Our services include:

  1. Support to access funding
  2. Employment programs
  3. Vocational assessments
  4. Psychosocial recovery coaching

These services are also available to people aged 24 years and above who have the correct funding.
