As a Developmental Educator, you’ll support participants and their networks to build new skills and positive habits. Your role will address the barriers that get in the way of participants’ well-being, participation and independence, working closely with an interdisciplinary team including allied health assistants.
You’ll take on the role of a social model practitioner, helping people overcome barriers that limit their engagement and opportunities. You won’t be working in isolation—our supportive team environment ensures you have the resources and collaboration needed to make greater impact.
Using evidence-based practices, you’ll recommend tailored supports, therapy strategies, and interventions to improve participants’ quality of life. Your approach is positive and empowered to help change the game for people with disability.
