Positive Change Push: Northern Perth

In May 2023, we launched our new brand identity to help us stand out and convey our commitment to creating positive change for people with disability.  A key aspect of the launch was the creation of a new social impact initiative, The Positive Change Push.

The Positive Change Push enables our team members to extend their impact and reach beyond their day-to-day work to deliver activities that drive more inclusion in our communities and change how people think about people with disability.

On Friday, June 30, our Northern Perth team change makers teamed up with Jets (Joondalup Entertainment Theatre School) to create a fun, safe and welcoming space for kids with a disability to participate in a hip-hop dance class!

From the smiles to the laughter filling the room, the event reflected true joy. Everyone was so happy to participate – the participants were true champions!

The Positive Change Push enables our team members to truly connect to our vision and purpose.  We’re proud that our teams across Australia have embraced the initiative, showing the world that changing the game is in our DNA.

We look forward to sharing more about the positive impact our teams drive within their communities over the coming weeks. Here are some of the game changing initiatives that you can expect to hear about:

  • an education session on inclusion for local sporting groups
  • essentials packs developed for under privileged children in hospital
  • a photography exhibition featuring all ability artists
  • a ‘No Lights, No Lycra’ disco dance session
  • an Everyday Independence participant to publish and deliver book reading of their own work
  • several sporting group sponsorships.

Stay tuned!
