Positive Change Push: Bendigo

Our social impact initiative, The Positive Change Push, empowers our team members to extend their impact and fund activities that promote inclusivity in our communities.

In November, our Bendigo and Shepparton change makers joined their forces to create positive change in their local community.

They sponsored the Bendigo Braves All Abilities basketball team, providing the players with branded caps, water bottles, and basketballs. The players were absolutely thrilled with their new items – the smiles in the photo say it all!

The Everyday Independence team had a great time supporting them as they took on Benalla, and were proud of how the Bendigo Braves showed great sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

Plenty of fun was had by players and spectators, and we look forward to seeing more of our participants joining the team.

Candice – Team Leader & Occupational Therapist

Reflecting on the successful day, Team Leader/Occupational Therapist Candice said, “Plenty of fun was had by players and spectators, and we look forward to seeing more of our participants joining the team.”
