13-year-old Alice has started high school and her goal is to catch the bus independently and get to school on time, so her therapist recommended a Habit Coach be incorporated into her therapy plan. Alice met her Habit Coach and they built rapport and discussed her goals and interests before the first session. Her Habit Coach visits her to practise her morning routine and become familiar with the habits so that she gets to school on time. This includes showering independently, eating breakfast, getting dressed and packing her bag. Her Habit Coach also helps her manage her time, practise reading the bus timetable, and which stop she needs to get on and off the bus.
