Sonya O’Donohue is the Practice and Participant Lead in Southern Melbourne and supports people with a disability to access our services.
After learning more about a participant’s needs and what they would like to achieve, Sonya matches a therapist who can help them to achieve their goals. Sonya schedules the participant’s first therapy appointment and remains their first point of contact for questions about their therapy, our services, payment arrangements, or if they need to reschedule appointments.
Sonya also provides ongoing support and communication to referrers and other professionals working with participants. She keeps referrers well informed about appointments that have been booked and answers any questions or queries they have about the services we are providing so they have the information they need to best support participants.
After various roles in administration and sales, Sonya joined Everyday Impendence so she could work in a role that had a community focus and where she could help make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Sonya was the Practice and Participant Lead in our Bayside Peninsular office 12 months before taking up the same position for our Southern Melbourne team.
Sonya enjoys spending time with her partner and two young children on the weekend and listening to podcasts.
Referrers can send through new referrals to the Intake team on 1300 179 131 or by completing our online referral form.
