Change to Habit Coach Appointment Cancellation Policy

Everyday Independence has been growing our teams across Australia to ensure we have greater availability of therapy services when NDIS participants need it the most. This includes our habit coach (allied health assistants) workforce, who are integral team members who support your participants in practising routines and skills in between therapy sessions.

To ensure our habit coaches can be there for all participants who need them, we’re changing our appointment cancellation policy.

Starting from Monday, February 26th, we will need at least five business days’ notice to cancel a habit coaching session. This will give us enough time to assign the habit coach to a participant who’s waiting for services.

We know unforeseen events happen, so if cancellations are made within five business days, we ask that you call us right away. If we can reschedule your appointment within a two-week time frame, we will not charge the cancellation fee.

Please keep in mind that this change only applies to habit coach sessions, not therapy sessions. The first courtesy SMS appointment reminder for a habit coach session will be sent seven days from the appointment to allow for non-chargeable cancellations.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to talk with your main therapist or get in touch with your hub administration partner. We’re here to help!
