Who We Support

We support people with disabilities of all ages to increase their independence, participate more in everyday life, and experience greater wellbeing.

Everyday Independence provides evidence-based NDIS therapies for people with disabilities of all ages, and targeted NDIS employment and vocational services to young people ready to shape their future.

Early Childhood : Up to Nine Years

Every child deserves the chance to explore their world with confidence. Our early childhood supports help babies, toddlers and young children with disabilities and developmental delay to build everyday skills to learn, play, communicate and join in at home, kinder, school and community.

We work closely with families, educators and other important people in a child’s life to understand their unique strengths, and show what’s possible with the right support.

We deliver our early childhood supports using the key worker model, the NDIA’s preferred approach for supporting young children and families.

Each family has a key worker as their main point of contact who brings together a team which may include paediatric occupational therapists, speech pathologies, physiotherapists, and habit coaches to help the child achieve their goals.

Youth: Nine to 25 Years

The early adolescence and young adult years are full of big shifts. New schools, friendships, new challenges and big decisions about study, work and independence. For young people with disabilities, these moments can be overwhelming. But with the right services and team, they become opportunities to grow stronger, more confident and more independent.

Our youth services combine therapy services with employment and vocational services to build real-life skills, and help young people shape their future with confidence. At the centre is each young person’s Youth Lead Practitioner, their go-to person who coordinates a whole team around them.

This team can include occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, behaviour support practitioners, habit and employment coaches, and vocational assessors, all working together toward the young person’s NDIS goals.

Adults: 26 – 65 Years

Adults often need support to manage everyday activities independently, stay connected to their community and maintain positive wellbeing. With the right therapies and team around them, adults can stay safe, included and meaningfully engaged in a life they choose.

With the right therapies and team around them, adults can stay safe, included and meaningfully engaged in a life they choose.

Life transitions, such as moving home, starting a job, joining community groups or building relationships can feel overwhelming. We work alongside adults to build practical skills, make informed choices and take part in everyday activities where they feel respected, valued and included.

Our therapy services occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, positive behaviour support, and habit coaching help adults build skills to live the life they want.
