The Everyday Steps to Success Program helps educators and families strengthen children’s communication, motor skills, emotional regulation, and developmental outcomes, using practical strategies to help them transition smoothly and confidently througout their early years.

As an approved provider of the Preschool Boost Program in South Australia, Everyday Independence partners with early childhood centres through our Everyday Steps to Success program. We’ve been supporting children and adults with disability and developmental delay across Australia for more than 25 years, with our team proudly delivering services in Adelaide.
We work alongside education centres to deliver therapy-based supports and services that promote inclusion, confidence, and wellbeing in children’s crucial early years.
Everyday Steps to Success offers practical, neuro affirming, evidence-based strategies that can easily be embedded into everyday routines, strengthening your existing programming.

Building Educator and Family Skills to Support Every Child’s Development
A highly experienced key worker will be your main point of contact, delivering and coordinating services including a team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and physiotherapists.
We can tailor a package to suit your center’s goals selecting from:
- on the ground support and individulised strategies to meet your service needs
- professional development for educators
- family workshops
- flexible delivery with with options for in-person, online, or blended modes.
Delivering Services Across Metro and Regional South Australia
The Everyday Steps to Success Program is available to early childhood education centres across Adelaide and regional South Australia, including Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Eyre Peninsula, Far North, Far West Coast, Fleurieu Peninsula, Flinders Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Limestone Coast, Mid North, Murray Mallee, and Yorke Peninsula.
Build a Package Tailored to Your Goals
Whether you’re supporting children with big feelings, communication delays, or self care skills, we’ll co-design a tailored program that works for your team.
Choose from educator development sessions, face to face or online supports which include in-room coaching, pre-recorded professional learning modules, and parent education sessions all designed around your specific goals.
Packages are delivered at an hourly rate of $213.39 including GST, with costs quoted based on your specific needs. Travel and accommodation charges may apply.
Physical Health and Wellbeing
Support physical development through milestone knowledge, motor skill support, independence strategies, and active play environments.
Social Competence
Support social skill development through inclusive, tailored strategies and inclusive practices.
Emotional Maturity
Support early emotional development through self-awareness, modelling regulation strategies, and managing emotional conflicts.
Language and Cognitive Skills
Support early language, communication, literacy, and numeracy development through play-based learning and tailored strategies.
Communication Skills and General Knowledge
Develop a language-rich environment that builds children’s communication skills through play and peer interactions

- one consistent point of contact – your Key Worker develops a tailored plan and oversees your program delivery
- a team approach – delivered by a key worker, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists who understand early childhood development
- flexible delivery options – face to face, online or blended delivery options to suit your needs
- integration with everyday play activities and routines, in room coaching and mentoring delivered in the places and spaces where learning happens.
