About the Role
We are looking for Employment Coaches, to support young people aged 15-22 explore their strengths, build real-world skills, and gain meaningful work experience.

You will provide tailored employment supports empowering young people to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways.
You’ll work alongside our interdisciplinary youth therapy teams to help adolescence and young adults explore work, build new skills and shape their future with confidence.

As an Employment Coach at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same.

  • Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to workplaces, vocational and community settings, and Everyday Independence hubs
  • Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated employment coaches, allied health professionals and other youth-focused practitioners 
  • Deliver tailored, hands-on employment supports to a small group of participants, ensuring a highly consultative and responsive approach to individual needs.
  • Facilitate workplace integration by providing on-site support once employment commences, helping participants adjust and thrive in their roles.
  • Collaborate with employers to offer consultation and support, promoting inclusive practices and sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
  • Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub, sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs

Who We Are Looking For

To be considered for this role you’ll need:

  • Flexibility to travel as required to support service delivery and participant engagement
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth
  • Valid driver’s license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Experience working in NDIS / disability
