Arnetts Sponsorship

We’re delighted to sponsor the Arnetts Soccer Club. Located in Newcastle, New South Wales,  Arnett’s is an inclusive football team for children and young adults with additional needs or disabilities.

Therapists from our Newcastle team will be on hand at each game throughout the season to provide children with support to get involved and have fun as they need.

Michael Broadbent, Physiotherapist and Team Leader from our Newcastle team ran the club’s Blue group game recently when they hosted a local team.

It was a rainy day, and everyone was drenched by the end of the session but that didn’t stop them from having an incredible game, as is evident from the big smiles on everyone’s faces.
It’s incredibly rewarding to work alongside Arnetts Football Club to provide children of all abilities with the opportunity to be involved in team sport.  The fun and excitement from the kids is infectious and an absolute joy to be a part of.

At Everyday Independence, our vision is for every Australian to have the skills and confidence to engage in everyday life as valued community members.  This sponsorship provides players with an opportunity to participate in sports, show their abilities, be active and have fun in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Our Newcastle team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers and Behaviour Support practitioners attend the matches on Sundays to provide therapy support to players during the game.
