How long is the graduate program, and when does it start?

Our 12-month Interdisciplinary Practice Graduate Program has two major intakes each year – in February and August. We also advertise graduate jobs throughout the year, so there’s always an opportunity to join our team in our monthly intakes. See our current graduate opportunities here 

Who provides me with support and supervision?

You’ll be backed by a team of people who want to see you succeed. From day one, you’ll shadow your induction supervisor and gradually build confidence as you deliver supports in everyday environments. 

Here’s who will support you: 

  • Induction Supervisor: supports your onboarding and early sessions
  • Clinical Supervisor: helps you grow your clinical skills and confidence
  • Team Leader: guides your day-to-day development
  • Fellow grads and team members: cheer you on and share the journey
  • Hub admin team: helps you stay focused on client outcomes.

I’m looking for an OT graduate program or a speech pathology graduate program – why should I apply?

If you’re an occupational therapy graduate looking for OT graduate jobs, or a speech pathologist new graduate, the Everyday Independence Interdisciplinary Graduate Program gives you everything you need to thrive in community-based disability practice.

Our 12-month program is designed to ensure your smooth transition from university to thrive in professional practice.  You’ll receive:

  • Comprehensive Induction: Your first month is dedicated to building foundational skills and understanding interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • 1:1 Clinical Supervision: Experienced mentors provide personalised guidance to enhance your clinical confidence and skills.
  • Learning Frameworks: Dive into both interdisciplinary and discipline-specific modules, covering the fundamentals of therapy planning, high-impact interventions, multi-modal communication, and managing complex behaviours.
  • Professional Growth: You’ll strengthen your clinical expertise with a tailored approach while also developing essential professional skills like time management, coaching, and participant engagement.
Can I choose where I work?

Yes, we’re hiring new graduates in many locations across Australia. You can choose to work in a metro or regional location to suit your lifestyle.

What makes our allied health graduate program different?

Not all graduate programs are created equal.  Ours equips new graduates, including OT’s and speech pathologists, for real-world success in ways others can’t.  Over 12 months, you’ll:  

  • Work as a social model practitioner, within an interdisciplinary therapy team
  • Deliver therapy in the community where clients live,work, learn and play
  • Build  discipline specific skills for community-based practice. 

All while  being supported every step of the way from your  team leader,  regular sessions with your clinical supervisor, and day-to-day help from your hub admin, team mates and fellow grads.
