Looking after your body and be fit and healthy is important for quality of life. It is easier to cope with daily challenges and to pursue your personal goals when you’re feeling well and have energy.
Our therapists work with you, your family and your support network to build on your knowledge, skills and attitudes to help you make healthy choices and access the health and fitness activities you need to be your healthiest self. This includes supports like exercise prescription, assistance with finding the right sporting club, assistive technology to participate in activities and learning how to make healthy choices.
For older adults being strong and fit makes a significant difference for how long you can live independently and helps you to keep engaged in your community.
