Being fit and healthy
Learning how to look after your body and be fit and healthy is important for teenage development. It is easier to cope with daily challenges and to pursue your education and personal goals when you’re feeling well and have energy.
Our therapists often work with young people and their families on the knowledge, skills and attitudes to help them make healthy choices and access the health and fitness activities they need to be their healthiest self. This includes supports like exercise prescription, assistance with finding the right sporting club, and learning how to make healthy choices.
