Are you a creative wordsmith with a passion for impactful storytelling? Do you love crafting engaging content for multiple platforms? Everyday Independence is seeking a talented individual to join its Engagement Team in the role of Internal Communications and Content Specialist.
About the Role:
As a key member of our Engagement Team, you will be responsible for developing compelling internal communications and branded content. Your creative prowess will be utilised across social media, our website, internal platforms, and digital campaigns. Your role is pivotal in connecting our talent, participants, and referrers to our organisation’s purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, write, and publish weekly/monthly communications, including the Monday Weekly Update and Operational Update
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to project manage operational change messages.
- Coordinate and script ad hoc organisational-wide Huddles and presentations.
- Oversee the management of team member user-generated content – including developing interview guides and editing for internal and external sharing.
- Enhance our intranet (SharePoint) experience for easy resource accessibility.
- Project management support for our social impact program, The Positive Change Push.
- Translate academic and clinical language into understandable concepts for team members.
- Support Talent Acquisition in creating engaging social content highlighting the benefits of working at Everyday Independence.
- Set up campaign communications for online events, utilising platforms like Zoom and Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
- Develop profiles of clinical leaders and team members for external promotion, including industry event presentations.
- Utilise participant persona insights to develop videos, stories, and copy showcasing our competitive differentiation.
- Ensure strategically aligned messaging across all content channels.
To be successful in the role you’ll have:
Essential:
- Recognised Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or similar fields.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Proficient in SharePoint, Canva and Viva Engage (formerly Yammer).
- Content creation and writing for social media.
- High level of written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience with WordPress Website CMS and Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
- Project management experience.
- Understanding of the disability sector.
