With more people requesting support to achieve their goals, we’d pleased to announce that we are expanding our services in Western Melbourne and Inner Gippsland.
Western Melbourne region
Everyday Independence therapists have recently begun supporting people in the local government areas of Melton and Brimbank.
Now, we’re putting the final touches on a space in Melton, which will open in early December. A locally based team of occupational therapists, speech pathologists and a physiotherapist will deliver therapy to people in their homes, work, schools and other places in the Melton and Brimbank communities. We will also offer people in-room appointments at the new therapy hub.
We were excited to open our Wyndham therapy hub earlier in October. We’re inviting local referrers to join us on Wednesday, November 20th, 10.30 – 11.30 am for morning tea. The morning tea is a great opportunity for support coordinators and other professionals to learn more about our therapy services, our approach to supporting people with disabilities, and to meet some of the Wyndham team members.
Managing Director, Leanne Healey will give a short presentation on how the social model of disability is taking therapy out of clinics and into the real world and delivering great outcomes. Referrer’s can register their attendance online or call Shaun Collins on 03 9114 1950.
Plans are also underway to expand our services into the Inner Gippsland area early next year.
We’ve been busy recruiting therapists who will be based locally in the region and we’re on the lookout for perfect space. We’ll keep you updated with more details of our services in this area in the next few months.
