With the Acting Victorian Premier’s announcement today regarding circuit breaker restrictions, we’re assuring people in Victoria that we will continue to provide services and therapy appointments.
As an essential service with authorised workers, Everyday Independence therapists are permitted to visit you in your home and provide therapy support if clinically appropriate.
This means that scheduled appointments will go ahead as planned between 11.59pm Thursday 27 June and 11.59pm, Thursday 3 June. If your appointment needs to change, we will contact you and talk about it.
Our therapists are trained to work with you and determine the best way to support you during this time. We have a range of therapy options including face to face, telehealth and phone appointments.
If you are unable to have your appointment in person, your therapist can support you with telehealth so you can continue working towards your goals.
If you are visiting our hubs, please remember that face masks must be worn unless an exemption applies. Please do not visit our hubs if you are feeling unwell.
We know restrictions can be stressful and bring new challenges so please speak to your Everyday Independence therapist or call us on 1300 179 131 if you have any questions or need support.
We’ve done this before, and we can do it again.
Stay safe Victoria.
