Everyday Kids LEGO Social Skills Group

Everyday Kids LEGO group

Everyday Kids LEGO Socials Skills Group is a fun playbased program run by experienced Occupational Therapists for children aged 6 - 10 years of age. LEGO is a great tool for engaging children and offers lots of opportunities to learn and practice social skills such as:

  • Initiating play
  • Sharing
  • Taking turns
  • Verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Respectful listening

Children also learn more advanced group skills like:

  • Asking social questions
  • Requesting assistance
  • Perspective taking
  • Accepting Feedback
  • Collaborative problem solving

All this great learning and practice is done quite informally and with lots of fun. We love seeing children grow in confidence as they master new skills and over come challenges. Children can use skills across many areas of their everyday life like school, family and other social environments.
